Returns & Refunds Policy

At jCal, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, refunds, subscriptions, and product warranties are handled.

Right to Cancel Your Order

If you purchase a jCal device online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your device.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us within the 14-day cancellation period. Once cancellation has been confirmed, the item must be returned within 14 days.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless the device is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof that it has been returned, whichever occurs first.

The original product price and standard delivery cost will be refunded. Expedited delivery upgrades and return shipping costs are non-refundable.

Once processed, refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

If a fault is confirmed within 30 days of delivery, you may be entitled to a full refund. After this period, we may offer a repair or replacement where appropriate in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Return Conditions

You may open and inspect the jCal device to assess its nature, characteristics, and functioning. However, returned items must meet the following conditions:

  • The device must be returned in good working condition.
  • All original components must be included, including the wall mount, power charger, and any supplied accessories.
  • Where possible, items should be returned in the original packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Returned items will be inspected upon arrival. If an item shows signs of excessive use, damage, missing components, or other reduction in value beyond what is necessary for inspection, we may reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value of the item.

How to Start a Return

Please contact jCal Support before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted or processed.

  • Contact jCal Support to request a return.
  • Repackage the device securely, ideally using the original packaging.
  • Ship the device back using a tracked delivery service of your choice.

The returned item remains your responsibility until it reaches our warehouse. We recommend keeping proof of postage.

For quality control and fraud prevention, returned devices may be verified using serial numbers or internal identifiers before a refund is issued.

Subscription Refunds

Subscription fees, including the Zmanim Engine subscription, are non-refundable.

If you cancel a subscription, access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Warranty

jCal devices purchased through authorized sellers include a limited 90-day warranty covering manufacturing defects.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within this period, we will repair or replace the device where appropriate.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly
  • Devices purchased from unauthorized sellers

Reporting a Manufacturing Defect

If you believe your device has a manufacturing defect, please contact our support team with your order details and photos or videos of the issue. This helps us verify the issue and process a repair or replacement as quickly as possible.
